As I started this blog, I wavered back and forth about whether or not I should include the requisite post about why I am doing this. I’ve seem some blogs that attempt to lay the foundation of what they wish to accomplish with their blogs and alternatively, some that just go ahead and dive right into it. Nevertheless, the scientist in me screams that this needs a purpose, a hypothesis, maybe even an abstract; I will attempt that.

Purpose: Initially I wanted to use this blog to give people some insight into what it was like to be a medical student while being newly married. Then I realized that people probably don’t give a rat’s ass about what that’s like so instead I will just try to highlight some events/thoughts of my life.

Hypothesis: I had to look up how to spell hypothesis. Consequently, I have no idea how to “develop a hypothesis” for this blog.

Abstract: Here is where I can fill in some information:

Name: Mr. Med Student (I figure that this will be too long to type later, so I will abbreviate from the start with MMS MrMS)

Married to: Mrs. Med Student (I figure that this will also be too long to type later, so I will abbreviate from the start with MMS. Eff. I’m an idiot that lacks foresight. MrsMS)

Occupation: Medical Student/Husband. I’m rather mediocre at both of these.
